Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

15 eggs today, and rainy, which we need... we're about 4" behind already...so no free ranging this afternoon, not that they wouldn't... it's not raining that hard yet, it's me... I don't want to stand out in the rain. lost Lily and Barney on a day like today, I haven't forgotten... good cloud cover brings the fox...

I have a few dozen nice beetles in the meal worm farm, first mealy harvest can't be far off!
 
Peach... poor Peach... she had one of her eggs break, and the shell was stuck to her underside...she let me get some of it... then she got back on her nest. I will have to go out later with a couple of warm towels. one to put over the eggs, and the other, moistened... to get the remainder...
 
Big broody has three chicks now. Two RIR and one Delaware. BUT......it's not over yet. Was checking the remaining eggs to make sure before I move them to the floor and found another one hatching. Little beak working away on the shell. No nest move tonight. Roger still has her one little RIR. Other two eggs not doing anything. But who knows.
 
In an odd twist of the thread's title, you've bought eggs and are still waiting it out.
