Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

OMG! I just found this thread yesterday and started reading! I am now on page 67 of the thread and have ROFLMBO on several occasions! It is so nice to meet all of you and your flocks, and I am trying to catch up with everyone! I decided to jump to the end and introduce myself so I didn't get even further behind!
I have 12 RSL, 6 black cochin X's, 3 buff cochins and 1 Buff Orph. plus 2 black rouges that I am not really sure what they are! Only the BO and the 2 BC hens are laying at the moment. I also have a mix of barred rocks, ameracauna, BO, and light brahmas in the brooder! We are waiting on eggs from the younger girls who are guesstimating to be about 13 weeks!

LOL.... they are already spoiled! They got cornbread and buns this morning. And for me it will have to be PIES (plural because the big girls run off the smaller ones!)
I will definately work on getting some pictures!

and pics yes, lots of them... from you too Linda... I wanna see the seramas! I got some beautiful pictures of the gang today, particularly the new boys, lots of work to do tonight going through them all!
12 Eggs so far, there are a handful of girls in and out of the nest... so I'm hoping to get a few more.

Monday night is mealworm night here at the Hen Hotel and there were more knock down drag outs than 50 cent beer night at the old redneck bar I hung out at in my younger days. One chick got in at least three different fights......that's right...
.....Mess with my meal worm and we gonna fight.

SIX....Today We Laid SIX Eggs.........No "R" in July is the feedback i'm getting. I thought that was just oysters? .......that's OK......no "P"......"I".......or "E".......either. Two can play that game
