I got 21 eggs today, daughter came too visit and I had 18 doz eggs in ref, they went to action and she went in to get coffee got talking to ladies and hubby asked them if they could use some eggs she asked how much and he told her 2.00 a doz which is cheap she jumped on it and took 10 doz told hubby to bring more in 2 weeks that she will buy them, thank god, I have been sending them home with daughter and she has been given them out at work, better then the eggs going bad, and she works for a rehab center is a nurse so I don't mind, then granddaughter gave some to her friends, now my ref has no eggs right now, looks funny, and I think I am going to clean out coop this week it is a mess, I don't have a covered run so with all this weather we been haven they are in coop thank god it is big with room for them to move around. if it works out with eggs I will not feel bad about getting peeps as soon as weather breaks we have a couple that would like to set so we will see what happens after I clean coop may let them start in march.

Room in fridge and coop is always a good thing... Means you can have more chickies!!!!

yes maybe in march unless if we get to chicken action and they have some that I like, we will see, but first I have to clean the coop and talk the hubby about a covered run, he has been looking for another camper to make as a run we will have to see how he makes out with that

I'm glad that everyone seems to have had a good day today! I went and got my grandma and we went up to my great aunt's house. My g.Uncle passed away on Friday, and we hadn't been able to go up there because of the snow. The viewing is tomorrow with the funeral following.

The past couple of days have been low eggs today. I only got 7 and 1 broken one today. Not sure exactly what is going on, but I am missing the double digit days!

Most of the snow has melted and we have a muddy mess! It is slick and I slipped and slid trying to go feed and gather eggs today. Hubby came down there and we started rearranging the stuff in the big building so that we can start getting it ready to move the chickens over into. Lots to do before we can get them moved though.

So sorry to hear of your loss.
I am still only seeing one egg every few days. The chickens are still holding off, but I sure don't blame them!
We are still tossing ideas. The roof is failing fast on the old "coop" so we will have to rebuild.
Quail are laying really good, but they are in the heated garage. We laid 9 quail eggs today!!!
We have a warm up this week, am very ready for it! But ugh, dread the mud too.

little stinkers didn't lay any more eggs for me. 31 days until Spring!
I am soo, soo ready!

Excellent! It really feels good to share eggs, and cover feed cost too!
Quote: I have hopes of converting my old apache pop up camper to a mobile Guinea house. We have the materials to do it, just waiting for weather to break
