These are 3 of the 4 chicks. The fourth chick is light like the other 3. Rumples took the chicks out of the nest and left the remaining egg. Do you think its a bad one? I candled it. It has an air sac and blackness.

Scrambles - congrats on the chicks! I read that feather sexing is not accurate in ameracaunas (that's what half of my chicks are) BUT I will say that most of my slower feathering ameracaunas did turn out to be boys as far as I can tell at 5 wks.

Whaaaaaat? Make believe? Dangit. I was so afraid we would get in trouble for not providing easter eggs, I flew (yes, flew. I am the best at flying around here) allllll the way way to the store at MIDNIGHT last night to make sure there were eggs. I don't want to be mistaken for a roo after all!

Lindz - congrats on the first sale! I doubt I will everf have enough eggs to sell between the amount that we eat and the amount I'm planning on giving away..

No chicken coop progress today. Rained all day. We're down to just the run. One more good day's work will have it done the weather just needs to cooperate.
