WOW......sorry to hear this cheeka. Wonder if it was too hot in there. It was mid 70's here this morning. I would like to know if you find out. The walking problem combined with him eating and drinking had me convinced he would be OK. You did what I would have done. But it happens despite our best efforts. SorryRhody died this morning. Rest in peace my little sweetheart.
I knew when I woke up. I woke with a start and had a bad feeling. tried to shake it off... and got some blueberries for him and headed out - telling myself I was being overly dramatic. no poops, and he was in the same position as he got in to sleep. I will see if Cornell does necropsies for free or a small charge. I don't want to lose more.
Subhanalah.... Anything to report yet lol? I can't wait for mine to start laying. I haven't seen any squatting yet so I'm thinking I still have 4 or 5 weeks left to wait. I swear it's like when I was a kid and waiting on Santa!
I am so sorry for your loss.I lost one of my mamas and 2 of the chicks last night.... Going to have the live trap set tonight, and hope that I catch whatever got them.
