Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

My big egg was only a double yolker! And small yolks too!

I"m beat, sore as all get out, stomach still aches, head aches now... no rest for the weary... I will have to help the new girl sort tomorrow but not help her drive. I still have to do a double, mine and Jefferson. today I did mine, 30% of the new girls route and the Jefferson route. didn't get home til near 6. everyone is fine, but I missed them so and couldn't let them out for free range because of the hour and the crappy weather. I know they are taking advantage, I did say something to the PM in Jefferson... about how no one ever helped me sort, much less carry a portion... I just don't want her to quit. once she's trained on the big route, she'll train on mine, then I can have a vacation... so it's worth a little stress

My two reds about a week older look exactly the same as yours and no eggs yet, the kicker is my brother has 6 all from the same hatch and 5 out of6 has considerably larger comb & wattles and have been popping out pullet eggs since 16 weeks.

we are cutting back on snacks, hope this helps they are waiting for them and not the feed, its been three days now and i see they are eating feed, got 12 eggs yesterday, a lot of yelling the egg song but nothing did get 5 so far today, we have one that goes over new new coop sings away then comes back to old coop to lay her egg, it was so funny to see her this morning, we are out there dh is working on fence and i am cleaning the winter poo out. had to take a rest it is hot out there

So Phyllis decided that she would like to lay an egg in my husbands shop. Either that our my marans ran outta toner and laid a white egg!

I helped my aunt catch her newly hatched guinea keets and Momma..... there are 20 BABIES there!!!!!

My dad has another baby pony mule at his house... I really want it!
