Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Val's girls will probably all start laying at the same time and I'll still be limping along here with my one bird who lays when she feels like it.

JW if yours don't sing the eggsong you're lucky. I am kinda afraid my neighbors will complain about mine that scream at the top of their lungs after they lay an egg. Although this might not be a problem since Penny appears to be on strike and the rest are probably never going to lay an egg.

I doubt it. Mine just seem so clueless - only the one (Lucy) squats down when I reach for her, but not every time. No singing, no looking in nest boxes, zip zero nada. They will soon by 21 weeks old. I was so excited when they turned 18 weeks - I thought, "ok, here we go!". Now I don't even look for an egg, I give up. I'll just be surprised one day.

Favre was good in his day but he turned into a real wacko there towards the end. Rodgers is not my favorite player. My heart belongs to #52. Clay Matthews. I wish he would cut his hair but otherwise...well...i have a terribly crush on the guy.

I have several of Clay's pictures on my tablet. It is my background. If he cuts his hair, I will be devastated. I am kinda sick to the stomach that you don't like his hair.

It's okay except when it's all wet and stringy during the games. When it's like...dry and stuff it's okay.

I would probably melt into a puddle of goo if I ever met him. My hubby was out to lunch one time when he and a couple other guys came in to eat too. I would have died right there.

No feathers ruffled here cheeka! I'm on the nj side and we get pretty annoyed that nj never gets any credit. Happens a lot for other things... For example auditions for American idol often are at the stadium but they always say NY not NJ. Oh well, I get it!!!!

I don't count eggs anymore but I'm getting about 8-12 a day.

And my girls are LOUD! Holy cow I can't imagine a rooster being louder!

The pullets are 15 weeks old today and I am slowly mixing layer feed with starter feed.

There you go. Chickenlindz doesn't even count anymore she gets so many eggs. She gets so many eggs, I bet she uses them for paperweights and doorstops! You know how the garbage bag is kinda puffy when you first put it in the garbage can? I bet she tosses an egg or two in there to weigh the bottom down!

We went up to our local apple barn to get some fresh produce and eat in their restaurant. Had a great time and came home to look at the chickens and ducks and make sure everyone was ok..... Here is what we got instead....

Of course it's head was still attached when I bout STEPPED ON IT!! But a round of high brass #8 bird shot quickly took care of that! It isn't possible (I don't think anyway) for one to get in with the RSL's because they are up high when they are not free ranging, but it was headed toward the silkies pen really quickly and it's on the ground, and the ducks are right next to them.
