I doubt it. Mine just seem so clueless - only the one (Lucy) squats down when I reach for her, but not every time. No singing, no looking in nest boxes, zip zero nada. They will soon by 21 weeks old. I was so excited when they turned 18 weeks - I thought, "ok, here we go!". Now I don't even look for an egg, I give up. I'll just be surprised one day.Val's girls will probably all start laying at the same time and I'll still be limping along here with my one bird who lays when she feels like it.
JW if yours don't sing the eggsong you're lucky. I am kinda afraid my neighbors will complain about mine that scream at the top of their lungs after they lay an egg. Although this might not be a problem since Penny appears to be on strike and the rest are probably never going to lay an egg.
