TWO... so far. Penny And Nugget laid at the same time this morning and left the coop at the same time. The entire time, Smoke looked as if she were standing guard on the ramp to the coop. Maybe she was keeping an eye out for the hawk while her flock mates laid their eggs.

Nice!

I found one egg, normal, next to the fence in the layer yard. There was a sticky wonky one in the coop.

The hens are all looking better now--new feathers are coming in.
 
Been busy all morning w Zumba and then cleaning. Sold 2 doz eggs. Tonight we are going to a football game. It's the first night in a long time that both of us are out. I think the last time was in feb when we went to NC to pick out Rawley. The neighbor said she'd put them to bed for me.
