Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

well happy fathers day to all the men out there,
we can not free range here we have a man who would shoot them, we do have a fence yard that is as big as some yards, it is 50 x 50 and have two of them, glad one came home hope you find the other one.

I let The flock out just as it began to rain. Two didn't want to get wet, but finally came out. Thankfully, the rain kept them from going more than a few feet. A big raccoon was seen in the neighboring yard. She told me it was not a cat, and I was glad I stayed outside. You know (Cheeka) how sometimes you run inside for a few seconds.

MC, boy oh boy do I know it. don't turn your back for a second in the rain! you're brave, letting them out.

Esther has an 8th chick. all black.

I felt bad for waiting to let them out. I figured with me right there, and so few predator sightings, it was safe enough. I have seen raccoons sunning themselves during the day before. Just not on my property. Regardless, now I'm going to be worried all the time.

Esther's perfect little 9th blonde chick isn't so perfect this afternoon. was this morning... not sure who pecked it first, but its missing skin on both sides of its face. I've got her inside, put some neosporin on her, and she's sleeping. once it's scabby, I'll put Blu Kote on and try to return her. fingers crossed.

for Karl's rooster to return. If something got him, it's because he was doing his job protecting his flock. Or, he may have been scared into hiding like the Del that came back.

Cheeka, what is this?
After four weeks of not seeing my landscaper, I called the owner. He said they were behind because of rain. I'd get my property done today. Guess who hasn't come?
The chickens are out. I'm very close by.
The bathroom will be done tomorrow. They are due between 7 and 9. If I'm ready at seven, it will be nine. If not, they will be here by six. :-D

I checked last night and then this morning, put up trail cam and didn't see anything.
He may have been all he could be for his girls.
