Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

"We have been notified by APHA that we fall within the 10km Survellance Zone from the outbreak of Avian Inflenza in Goosnargh. At the moment, we are not able to move any livestock onto or off the site. The restriction also applies to the sale of eggs. This effectively means for the time being we are unable to sell any hens, ducks, geese etc. This also applies to our Hennels service. Hens and ducks that are already boarding will have to stay on the site until we get approval from APHA. We have contacted a number of people who have booked hens into our hennels in the next two weeks, to allow them time to find alternative arrangements. If you have hens booked in with us, please ring to get an update.
At the moment, APHA have not provided a date when we will be able to resume normal business, but as soon as we find out, we will post it onto the website and facebook. The SHOP is open as usual for all supplies, feed, bedding, drinkers, feeders etc.
We apologise for any inconvenience and hope you appreciate this is outside of our control."
From the place I was getting hens, it was just a precaution before, now its official.

Did not candle last time and four out of four hatched. Think I might candle on day 10 this time around. What do you all think? Or should I just leave them alone and see what happens? Your thoughts please.....
 
Shouldn't hurt if your hands are clean and you are gentle. It might be good to know in case fertility is low. You don't want to cook eggs for 3 weeks that aren't developing. Have the eggs from hens with this rooster been fertile?
 
Jaz and I just collected six eggs. Three from yesterday and three from today. She saw the first egg in the box, and knew she wanted it. She took it, and was too into it to put it in her basket. I finally got her to grab the other two from the second box. This resulted in two cracked eggs as I tried to convince her to put them in the basket. I finally grabbed the three under the roost. We made it a few steps outside before I handed the basket to her, and kept her other hand in mine. She began walking better, but kept trying to put the basket on the ground(so she could play with the eggs). She spilled them, and I picked them back up. This resulted in a hissy fit. I finally handed her one egg. That was fine for a few more steps. She wanted them all!
It was a loud five minutes, but she's playing quietly in the living room now. She is going to be such a fun toddler!
