Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Cheeka, I will see if I can find some pictures. Town ordinance only allows 3 hens.

I'm really hoping that they're all hens. I have 2 easter eggers and a rhode island red.

If these pics were taken recently (at 18 wks old) then all 3 are female! Hope you get eggs soon!

well i went out and gave my chickens a pie, oh i made 3, 2 for the big chickens and then gave the peeps one they should know what to do with it, they did not go near it just looked at it, i am going out in a little while to see if they ate any, the mother showed them to run away from people and are like wild, hope they change now that mom is not there, dh picks them up every night after dark so maybe they will come around. she was not a good mother.

The photos were taken 2 days ago. I'm really glad to hear that I have 3 hens. They are very friendly, and enjoy eating from my hand. They would have to go if they turned out to be a rooster.

of my 9 chicks, the 2 house babies and Esther's 7, 8 have been a riot at roost time - literally climbing over one another to get to the front of the line for cuddling. never before have I had this. only Goldie stays at the far end, uninterested. frankly, I'm loving it. they are so soft. it's been very good for my soul.
