Scrambles, I'm so sorry for your loss. I think I'm losing this one. Genvieve, my Cuckoo Marans. I noticed today that she is walking funny, really high stepping, bumping her crop, which is hanging very low. I massaged it, I might feel a small tumor, but otherwise, it feels fine, except dropped... like she really needs a bra. feeling her body... she's thin, very thin. my poor baby. I massaged her for a while, she's still eating like crazy, but must be impacted. I wanted to separate her to see if she's pooping but she got back in the dome and was comfortable on the roost. tomorrow will be decision day. I might try to see if I can get in her crop. I did a ton of reading.

I'm sorry for all the sick/lost chickens. Very sad. Even when we know that it wasn't our fault, it is a sad thing.
