Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Duckling does occasionally make me remove a head. It really is nauseating for me. It started because one day I noticed that one of the horses had part of its mane coming out of its neck. I remove the head to discover that the hair had not been pushed through one of the follicle holes. I tuckedthe hair back in, and reattach the head. So, now she knows that they come off. The other night, she peed in the potty before her bath. The toy she chose was another pony. This resulted in her letting me know she wanted more my little ponies in the tub.
I really did forget about draining the water until late that night. I had to deal with the horses before I could shower. Obviously, they had to be decapitated to get out the water to prevent mold.

It's a beautiful sunny day today. Chilly, but not too bad. The girls are out kicking about for bugs and grass. Happy hens.... cluck.... cluck... cluck.

It's beautiful weather here, too. Right around 70 and sunny. Good weather for the Super Bowl. They sure got lucky in an el nino year!

Crazy morning here. Henry was missing when we got up this morning.

It had to have happened when hubs got back at 10 last night and was bringing a big box in. Dopey cat was out all night! We eventually found him... up in the neighbor's 100ft+ Giant Sequoia tree! Oh my! Fortunately, being a very lazy cat, he was on the lowest branch, about 25 feet up. The neighbors are away for the weekend, so we kind of broke into their backyard (fortunately their lab is a sweetheart) with a ladder, and hubs got Henry down from the tree. I'm making this sound simple, but it was touch and go for awhile and there was much grunting and muttering to be heard. Hanging on to a ladder and wrangling a 14 lb uncooperative cat is no easy feat! Henry is resting comfortably after his big adventure, the big dope.

Cheeka, is there a filter or way that I can fix this picture? She was being funny, and running away because she knew I was taking her picture. It was a great game until I realized how much I loved this picture! I see her laugh and smile all day, but I don't usually get so much happiness in photos.

Sometimes I think she is so cute that it breaks my heart. Does that even make sense?
If you look closely, you can actually see one of the teeth that are coming in. All four are about half through. She's miserable half the time these past few days.
See her bottom four teeth, then look to the left. Skip a space, and then you see a tooth.

The molars hurt more, poor baby. Frozen Otter Pops are a tasty pain reliever!

And yes, they are heart breakers, those little cuties. My favorite age is from where she is now until about 5 or 6. They are little sponges and even the simplest things cause great joy and wonder for them. So fun to watch them discover new worlds!

Yes, I should make her some ice pops! Duh! Thanks!
A full month ago, I was tightening the screws in the carpet strip thingy ... I'm too tired to think of what it's called! Anyway, I was tightening the screws. The other day, I put a screw in the center of the table. She can't reach there... Yet. Friday she climbed into my chair, and grabbed the screw. She immediately went over to that strip, moved the rug I had over it, and tried to put the screw into one of the holes!
Sponges they are!!
