Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Granny, Blooie, and Sally (okay, Sally is a different story) are all big people on BYC. If they create a thread, I am running away.
Heck, Two Crows was in the hatching thread today, and no one spoke. I kept trying to get people to talk to calm my own nerves. Of course, there was a reason I was especially nervous. Someone got me in trouble (and they have gotten several members kicked off in the past) because they were "offended" by a conversation I was having with someone. Nothing was wrong with the conversation, but if someone is offended in this world, we change the laws to accommodate them.

To be honest, I have never posted (but once) in a thread that the owner of the thread didn't invite me to. This is the exception. I was here from the moment Ok posted the thread. I didn't say anything for a while. I was nervous for days afterward that I was going to be told to leave.
If I am in a group of ten, and everyone went to do something else together, I would not follow. I think it is self centered to think I am welcome.

I understand since NPD(Personality Disorder) is common with my in-laws.

To clarify the previous post, I meant that the reaction to NPD people is to try to not be self centered, not that you had it.

I keep forgetting that you visit here.

I think it is one thing when they are in the hatch alongs like for May, Christmas... But otherwise, when there is no dialogue, just popping in... Like I said, no one was talking but me the whole time.

If a police officer is patrolling at the fair, you are fine. If a cop is behind you with their lights on... You pray they pass you by!

I think I have spoken to Two Crows before. That doesn't mean it wasn't nerve wracking today.
