Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I have no clue what this is. It's just a day old. The body is darker. Almost black.
One chick just hatched and was still wet. That one was all black. Another is chipmunk. 6 so far that I can see. Rumples is a little excited and protective. But she did let me take this little one for some cuddles. I'll go back for alot more pics as soon as we get settled from our fishing trip.

I keep seeing you today, and I keep meaning to ask how you are, and have been.

I had a bout of knee pain this week and the hip too. It is likely arthritis so I kept moving because I keep reading that lack of movement make it worse. It is better today so Hopefully I can push off any thing like joint replacement. I am trying ginger tablets and avacado/soy--called avovida. I hope it works!

I did spend time cleaning up the chicken coop and yard today so a productive day.

Yes. She did give me BCM, Wellsummer, Ameraucana (EE) and one Swedish Flower. The Swedish Flower egg has not yet hatched. Yesterday was day 21.
DH saw the pictured chick and asked about the "other ". Did it hatch and live??

I am going to be in big trouble. :O
