I hadn't planned on it, but the Harry Potter marathon interfered with my plans. #2son got all the movies for Christmas... we are binge watching. Then my headache got worse, so I didn't sleep much anyway. We still have four movies to watch, and my head is no better. I guess you were up!

Playing at Jurassic Park?

Jurassic Quest came to our town! it really was cool, but at the same time, half lame. they make it out to be so much more hands on than it is...then you get there and everything has signs saying "do not touch..." still, it was pretty cool. life sized animatronic dinosaurs... Wrangler had a lot of fun. participated in everything and made fossils, excavated fossils, made cute art work, took a ride on a triceratops and let me take a bunch of photos that kept coming out crummy because of the weird lighting...good sport.

she's still horseback riding and now ice skating. we took her and her cousins over the break and they had a blast. she's been back twice and now has had a lesson. she prefers free skating, so she might like hockey better. she looks like a player too because her teeth are literally dropping out of her head. she's lost 4 teeth since 12/21. making up for the fact that she didn't lose any teeth as a 6 year old.

If Duckling were mine, I would have had her doing all kinds of things already. Ice skating being one. Since it requires falling, I wanted to start before she had to sit in school with bruises.

I also would have a pony here. Ballet too.

Hope you don't have to buy eggs!     Where were you in California?  Why didn't you come for a visit???

I was in Brentwood in the BayArea. Quickie visit with my niece and her toddler.

The rain has finally passed through. We'll get a few dry days, then more rain! Will give it a chance to drain away our little pond behind the house.

Lot of standing water all over. It's been 10 yrs since we've had anything close to this amount of rain. The chickens don't quite know what to make of it,


but they sure enjoy the green grass.


Buster was up for a spa day!
