Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I understand California had a hurricane last night.
We don't really get big hurricanes here. There were strong winds at some higher elevations that would count as "hurricane force" winds. We even had some rain, but it's nothing like hurricanes in the east. Could be up in Oregon or WA state had more severe weather than CA.

Yes!

The high elevations in the Sierra have winds over 100mph in some storms. When that happens, we get gusts up to 40mph or so. Sustained is usually much lower

I have them! He gave me 17 eggs. What!? :barnie My automatic bator holds 12. I do have a manual turn one but, I might not be around to turn them everyday. Any suggestions?
I’m for sure setting the Marans, Cream Legbar and Barnelever.
Setting tonight for a Christmas Day (night) hatch.

See if you can borrow one from the local 4-H or get one on sale from a feed store. Maybe the local Craig's list will have one too
