Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

7 chicks have hatched so far and one is pipping and peeping. One drowned at pipping.
These chicks think that my hands are their momma and come running when they see me :love
How will I be able to let go of the cockerels?:th:hit

They are very cute!

I am betting that one Liege Fighter chick is a cockerel. It stood real tall in front of another chick and chest bumped it. :smack
:lau
That is something they do. The behavior change happens when the hormones kick in.

Still, if only one hatches it is often a cockerel....

I’m thinking that my Barnevelder and 2 Marans eggs will not hatch. No pip, no peeps, no rocking. :idunno
One chick has curled toes, but gets around fine. Kinda reminds me of Rumples.
Is there a way to straighten the toes and how much of a problem is it?

I’m going to have to put shoes on my curled toed chick. There may also be an issue with slipped tendons. Poor thing gets around but reminds me so much of Rumples. Should I cull??:hit
