I was just joking. No, no. It wasn’t obvious that I’m grateful for what I get.
Should be soon!I bought the eggs and I am Still waiting here. I have Two EE that are squatting but every day the same thing. No egg. 20 full weeks old they are. The rest have red combs but no squatting. And the roosters are breeding them every five minutes so if there were an egg song it would be hard to hear.I thought the neighbors would complain about the crowing but the bird orgy is all day loud!
I am so excited! I hope tomorrow! I have two roosters with 14 hens. I have ordered 8 more chicks to round things out. I am thinking of separating into two small coops eventually.Should be soon!
How many roosters do you have? Maybe the poor girls are traumatized!
That sounds like a good set up. We had roosters on the farm where I grew up. More than one and there were constant crowing wars! Maybe once they are separated they will calm down.I am so excited! I have ordered 2 auracanas, 2-olive eggers, 2- silkies. And two cream leg bar pullets. Since my original flock was not the breeds I ordered I am trying to get a colorful egg basket to off set all the brown layers I received. My squatting hen was on the nest this morning. I saw her in the chicken cam! That sounds like a good set up. We had roosters on the farm where I grew up. More than one and there were constant crowing wars! Are you going for a particular breed?
