Lots of good egg hiding spots around that yard! The 2 in the pic remind me of me and our Dixie when I was young. Great way to grow up!

Just after I was in High School, I had fun at my Grandmas place hunting for Guinea hen nests!

A favorite place is in the yuccas, and inside the back of the fenced area. There’s still a semblance of a coop in there, and lots of tall weeds.

I am bummed. My serama hen with the prolapse (for well over a month) had recovered. The prolapse was back where it belonged and she was doing really good for the last few days.
Then this morning she laid an egg. Prolapse is back and bloody, although slightly smaller than the original.
She is having a hot soak right now.
