Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Thanks! None this morning...yet.

And it is hard to say no to 5 FREE laying hens. They are wo happy with a fan in their house. They used to free range on a farm and usually roosted together in a chicken hutch. They are really happy!

If those five are anything like mine they should have paid you $50. a chicken to take them away. I've had it with these knuckleheads. I try to be nice but it never ends.

Call it a half dozen. For some reason it sounds like more. Now did you have to threaten bodily harm to get cooperation from your girls? Mine didn't really get with it till I nailed a butchering cone to a tree where they could see it. And then I felt so bad about it I must have gave them 25 pounds of scratch and a loaf of bread. I was just mad. I wouldn't hurt the little jerks and I think they know that now.
