Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

HaHaHahahahaha! you and your reverse names... I was thinking about that already... of course... and really need to see his personality, but I was thinking Fawkes. with his blue/silver underside and bright red topside, I was thinking that a Phoenix reference was appropriate... looks like a pile of ashes with flame on top... in the world of Harry Potter, Dumbledore has a phoenix... named Fawkes. but i'm really not sure yet. so I'll call him Debbie til I figure out what his name really is... my friend Debbie might not be as pleased as you tho'... lol

I should get a text message any minute now to let me know if i have to work or not

if not, i'm hoppin' in the Tahoe and goin' to Pennsylvania with my big ole doggy crate, bedding, food, water... and some meal worms to keep him happy for the long ride home. the quarantine run is set up and ready for him! I'm so so so super excited! I know i could have gotten a roo lots closer to home, but his coloring is so awesome, and he needs a home

reverse names?....Me?.....CW told me thats the thing to do. I just do what she tells me is right. lol..have a safe trip and tell Debbie that Roger thinks he is a hunk.
 
Poor Debbie he will be so sad
Lost all his friends and the home he had
But cheeka has a plan for the other seven
Debbie will be king of the chicken heaven
This will work Cheeka will not fail
And Debbie must complete his month in jail
It will take time but we will see
One happly family they will be

Can you at least leave a TV on for Debbie in his coop......Please

Is Debbie home yet? What's his favorite TV program? Reruns of Green Acres? Super Chicken cartoons? Best to stay away from those cooking shows. Might freak him out!

We are HOME!!! and it's not just me and Debbie.... i just had to ask if he had a buddy that might like to come along so quarantine wouldn't be so lonely... and Tina's face lit up... he has a look-a-like! a look-a-like with feathered feet! AND she had a precious bantam EE/cochin pullet to boot!
so, me and ALL THREE loaded up and trekked north. they are happily roosting in the quarantine pen, with fresh food and water waiting for when they wake up. i will take pictures first thing in the morning...
so Debbie Sue, Linda Lou and Ted are home at last!

actually... they perped and cheeped all the way home and told me that their names are Osiris, Archimedes (Archie) and Peach...
