Should I candle day 17?

Is it ok to candle on day 17 or should I just wait and see what hatches?

I usually candle when I move eggs from the incubator to the hatcher on Day 17 or Day 18.
I haven't seen that it hurts them

I also candle before putting them in the hatcher. This helps me know what is really going to hatch and what is not. No use wondering if those last eggs are going to hatch if they were no good to start. I usually dont see a lot of movement at day 17 or 18 but if you check the edges of the airsac you can usually see good blood vesels growing still. Good luck, Jenn
