should i caponize my little chick

Completely white, don't know the breed. My mom got them impulsively because she wanted to dye them pretty colors, but never dyed them in the end.
Silkie is the breed.
I have lots of white silkies. I died my mom's silkie to look like a pumpkin for Halloween. I used professional grade food coloring, & she's still orange .

Please don't try to dye chickens.... I guess if it's an adult it's not too harmful though.

The main problem is that dyed chicks (pink, purple, blue, etc.) often go to owners/buyers who have no coop or run or chick starter to care for them.

Years ago, around Easter, they used to sell dyed chicks around parks or town squares. I have not seen this in recent years.
