I don't want bacteria to get inside the eggs easier if I wash them, but one of them has muck on the outside but otherwise is perfect. I do want to incubate it, but what should I do? Also does Listerine/water mix sprayed to clean out all bacteria in my incubator work?. I already used dawn soap and water on my styrafoam incubator already and it's completely dry. My eggs shipped today and I'm letting them set for 24 hours. Its 1 hour gone by so far. I want to absolutely make sure there is no bacteria.

and get them in the incubator as soon as possible. i will prepare in EVERY possible way to put them in the incubator. What should I do?

My understanding is that with shipped eggs, you should let them settle for 12 hours before incubating them. See what is said about shipped eggs, washing dirty eggs, and answering any other questions you may have in "hatching eggs 101" in the learning center. Lots of useful, helpful information there. I review that lengthy compilation of material every season before touching the plug on my bator.
