should I discard my eggs?

Hi, today is day 7, 4 out of 7 eggs look fertile, 3 looks clear, I can only see the yolk. I am using a homemade incubator with automatic temperature control. Should I wait before I discard?

Wait a few more days, i usually wait till day 10. If nothing shows, I boiled them and feed them to my other chickens as a treat.

I discard mine at day 10. When I candle day 7 I will put the ones I think are clears to one side and double check them at day 10 then discard. In reality by day 7 you can pretty much tell, I just like to be ultra sure...lol

Thanks for this thread! I'm new at this too and I'm only on day 4 and I'm freaking out. I'm so worried about doing something wrong! I have 24 silkies and 2 random ones from my LF to fill the space! Crossing fingers and following this post!

Welcome to the group. I am on day four as well!! Good friday chicks coming up, hopefully...lol I had planned to set Sunday and hatch out on Easter, but I picked my eggs up on Friday and couldn't wait, so they went in Friday afternoon...lol I hope you guys don't think I'm being pushy if I ask what kind of incubators (still or forced air) you are using and what you are using for temps and humidity?

Thanks! I am using the RCOM Suro, and I have it set at 99.5 and 45%. So far so good! Tonight I saw 10 out of 26 developing! More to come I think but 10 for sure! Soooo excited!!
