Should I feed medicated feed?

I have a group of chicks that is about 8 weeks old and another that is about 7 weeks old that I'd like to move outside. They've been on non-medicated feed thus far. Should I switch them to medicated feed before putting them outside or can I continue with the non-medicated variety?

I think that you can continue giving them unmedicated. It's just a preference.

The non-medicated is fine, and i think it would be best to keep them on the same feed.

Critical period is over for the disease that most medicated feed treats. Keep feeding what you are as Tiramisu recommends. WHen I fed medicated I stopped at 10 weeks. Birds are fine.
