Using insults doesn't seem like a good way to get what one wants. It would be better to have a calm discussion, figure out what went wrong earlier and why, and decide how to solve it in a peaceful way. You can also explain that the chicks are too young to go outside, and that they need to stay within a certain temperature range in order to survive.

Yeah, I have no patience for this manic need to show undo respect to unreasonable parents, who demand to be treated like mini gods.

If you're to young to deal with him on your own; do you have a teacher or other adult who would be willing to call animal control on you behalf?

I would advocate a compromise - Explain to dad that your chicks cannot survive outside (for all the reasons explained by previous posters) but "offer" to put them somewhere else in the house (as a compromise) until you have finished your homework.

Then do your homework..

While I do NOT condone your dads course of action - right now your priority is finding a solution that is best for the chicks.

He may not know the consequences of throwing the birds out so early

Do not put the chicks outside. They'd die for sure.
