should i fight back for the sake of my chicks???

those chicks are one of the only things i have left, and normally when i love somthing i.. dies and if their gonna die this way then i might as well try and prevent it...

Yeah, I have no patience for this manic need to show undo respect to unreasonable parents, who demand to be treated like mini gods.

If you're to young to deal with him on your own; do you have a teacher or other adult who would be willing to call animal control on you behalf?
 
I would advocate a compromise - Explain to dad that your chicks cannot survive outside (for all the reasons explained by previous posters) but "offer" to put them somewhere else in the house (as a compromise) until you have finished your homework.

Then do your homework..

While I do NOT condone your dads course of action - right now your priority is finding a solution that is best for the chicks.
