Should I get a pair of geese to help guard my chickens and ducks

I already learned the hard way not to get more than one male duck. We had two and they were very hard on the 7 females. I am guessing a gander would be the same? I was thinking of getting a pair of females because I think just getting one it my be lonely. Also are the females aggressive? And I am not sure what breed to get. Thinking Chinese or African or Toulouse? Opinions? I have 3 fenced acres with 2 ponds so I have room.

I have six geese,My roman tufted seems to be the most alert out of all of them.My toulouse and africans don't do much.Brown chinese are good guard geese too but they can be noisy. My females aren't aggressive.

This may not be an issue anymore. Seems like all the hatcheries require an order of at least three, and with shipping they come to around $140 and up.

We have three big dogs that take care of large predators. They actually guard the poultry

Sounds like don't actually "need" geese then. Unless you just want some for fun then. Africans and Toulouse are good for eggs and fairly docile and quiet. Chinese are also great layers but are very loud.
