Should i get a snake?

Im a big cat person who also loves her fish and chickens and im thinking about getting a snake, but i dont want it to hurt any other aniamls i have, any ideas?

A snake should have it's own environment where it can not come in contact with your other pets, but why not get one ? They are interesting creatures. Understand that most snakes need to be fed live food.

Nope..Don't get a Snake.......I like them but wouldn't own one.

If you like snakes you should get one I had a teacher who had a California King Snake and it was fascinating, if you do have cats though make sure you can keep them separate, cats do not like them!!!

I have a black snake that lives in my attic. He controls the varmints that like to chew on the wiring up there. I was tempted to turn one loose in the house to get rid of my mouse problem but I never did. I was afraid I might step on him when I got up in the night. I decided to use bait instead.
