should I get another goose?

I have a pair of semi-aggressive brown chinese geese. I was wondering if I add another female that is really friendly to the pair will she become aggressive? I was kinda hoping that adding another female would keep Charlie, the male and primary aggressor, busy. Will it or will I just end up with 3 mean geese?

I thought geese were always aggressive.... ??? maybe some others will know better than I.

I don't think it would make the new one mean, but considering that geese pair up, I would worry that the old ones wouldn't accept the new one.

I decided that I am not going to worry about it this year and Im not going to get the other goose. Maybe Ill get another in the spring but I decided with winter coming on adding more animals is not that smart.

So how do you know if your geese are actually a pair? I have an unrelated male and female and they have been together since day one. They are friendly with each other but I have never seen him try to mate with her. He is always molesting my ducks though! They stick together for the most part and when they are appart they honk for each other. Will they not mate until spring or are they just not romanticlly interested in eachother?

Geese males can be agressive, My boy lovingly hand raised along w his sister is very protective of me. Thats their nature. I got them as day time gaurds for my yard and flock. they are behind a high fence but any thing strange comming in to the yard they are there and ready. They are just 5 mths old. They are friendly w me. Of course I am the food lady. My husband worries me though! HA! I can only imagine the breeding season. LOL I am taking a break till spring too!
