Muscovy Ducks do not lay as many eggs compared to Campell and Runner Ducks. Muscovies average 50-125 eggs a year, while a Campell is 250-325 and a Runner is 150-300. But if it is an egg laying breed that you want, I would suggest getting the one of the other ducks but Muscovies are good in my option for people that don't want to have huge clutches of eggs to eat. I have eaten various duck eggs from different kinds of ducks and to me they tasted alike, but that's me.

i only eat eggs on the weekends, would i ave enough eggs to eat from 1 hen by each weekend?

How may hens do you plan on having? Yeah, my hens lay around 2 eggs a day and I think you would have plenty eggs for the weekend then.
