Should I get peafowl?

We were thinking of getting peafowl but we are worried about the noise and we dont know what you need to have when owning peafowl. Are peacocks really as loud as people say they are? What do you need for peafowl that you wouldn't need for chickens? Also feel free to share your preferences on owning peafowl. Thanks!

Check the stickies on top of the forum page for information on owning peafowl. I honestly prefer peafowl over chickens. They might be a bit more delicate but they don't eat nearly as much and they're much prettier.
