Should I help my chick hatch?

I dispatch late eggs now not worth the time as everytime I did help the chick never lived long they died could be a week etc they are to weak to hatch they are to weak to live.

Not always true. In fact that's often untrue

I assisted 3 ducks dec of 2021
My ducks are still doing great
No health issues
Never showed weakness
All we’re up moving around the bator in 4-6 hours ready for brooder
In your case there nsybe a weak gene in the flock
Or you are not assisting correctly
I know it’s not for everyone it’s a personal choice
Just don’t want others to think if they assist their babies will die
