Update:
Well, it's 24 hours later, not much change. We soaked her last night and she was looking better and did lay down in the cage and sleep last night. Her eyes are clear and she'll eat a few bites from hand.
Dawg: thanks for the pics, she DID have what looks like intestinal lining floating in the water after her bath yesterday. She is still straining to poop or lay, and she's still dripping black bloody poop.
When my husband came home last night he "felt her up" and couldn't feel any egg blocking her either. I tried all day and never felt anything.
She's no better but no worse either. I did call the only vet around here that sees chickens and they couldn't see her for two days, so I didn't bother. I didn't think she'd last that long if it was an egg, but now I'm not so sure it IS an egg.
