Should i leave a review? Adviced wanted.

Im gonna give them til Thursday or friday and then send the second email give that 7 working days. Now i must ask would it be wrong of me to open a paypal case if i can for selling eggs that were never fertile?
I would state this in the second email.....then give them another however long you decide before starting the paypal dispute.

I think i will, i mean i know they cant 100% guarantee fertility but they can help the odds by having fewer females to cover, a roo in their prime etc plus checking the rate themselves by cracking or harching. And to me they cant say its posts fault as no fertile egg to the best of my knowledge can go from fertile to infertile. All postal issue i have ever had was failure to thrive by 7 days of incubation and a few with severe deformities (not 100% sure if bad handle can cause but i assume if it was rattled around good enough).

Did the other 2 breeds develop/hatch OK...or what day is incubation on?
Is there a time deadline on the paypal dispute?

Out of the 18 eggs in total (6 from each of the 3 breeds) only 5 white leghorns and 2 french wheaten marans made it to lockdown they are day 18 or 19 now i believe and the only way i know the marans have something in them i can only see a air cell now at this point. They are due by the April 6th. I would double check in my hatch log but i think my hubby moved it🤬.

I like to log and keep a record of my hatches and where the eggs come from how much i paid etc like by friday 1st my hat h of 43 golden giant quail should starting or over depending on how early or late they want to be out of 50 7 are duds. I just really like keeping track. Oh and i think paypal gives you 180 days to dispute.

Right so i talked with the hubby we decided to give them til this coming monday to respond to the first email. I have until july 5th to open a case as i might be covered.

Im moving all the eggs into the fridge and putting them in a plastic container as they are just sitting in a cardboard tray near the incubator. Ill be cracking them open this weekend outside and video recording it now if any of the marans did develop i have no problem admitting i was wrong and messed up.

Come tuesday if i still have no reply i will instead be using the draft for the second email as my paypal claim opening email attaching the photos to it and seeing if i can attach the almost 7 min long disappointed candling video and the egg cracking video that I will be doing. Ill also take a screen shot of their facebook post where they are showing off possibly infertile legbar eggs for sale etc. I have seen their views on facebook (they seem to have removed the function of reviews as i can seem to give one there).

Again I know one can not guarantee fertility 100% but the fact that 60-66% of the marans look infertile and 100% of the legbars are infertile couple with the fact they are taking so long to respond and the legbars have been removed from sale on their site and at this point not honouring their own word on replacements by not responding makes me think they knew the fertility in at least the legbars was low to none.

Now i wonder if there are any BYC members that have fertile blue egg layer hatching eggings as i rather give a fellow BYC member money then is so call business. Or am i being a petty jerk?

OMG.. i just properly scrolled through the business fb page and now im worried and kinda annoyed. Here in the UK we have lockdown orders over the bird flu that im sure are still in place, where our birds cant be let out to free range they need to be indoors/under cover in a run.

This seller posted a video of his flock of ducks free ranging outdoors and claims they (all his birds) are supervised when they do this.

While bird flu is annoying and it sucks the birds cant be out and it means less fodder (free ranging) and more pellets and more money spent i find them flouting the rules and risking the health of all their birds worrying. I mean you can supervise all ya want but that wont stop any bird from getting sick and spreading it and it sound horribly painful for the birds.

And honestly seeing that has me worried for my flock because right now we cant really afford to lose flock or our new quail. I regret buying from this business as they seem so unbothered by basically breaking the law thats in place right now from the looks and sounds of it.

Maybe you should tell them you are gonna put your review on YouTube and see if that does anything. Lots of people watch reviews and read reviews before making purchases (I am one of those people). Then if they still sit on their duff do your PayPal claim. I am ever so fond of PayPal.

I dont do youtube reviews im overly conscious of the way i look and sound, i mean i know i dont have to tell them that tho and just bluff. Think then need a kick in the rear tho they are a "business" and should take reports of 100% infertile eggs seriously.
