Should i leave a review? Adviced wanted.

And now they have called me. I don't feel comfortable talking to them over the phone and will not be returning their call as I can't/ don't know how to record it. Am I being unreasonable by not answering/returning their call? as I want a paper trail.
 
Seller called twice and then proceeded to reply to my paypal case of when did you send your email i have looked and cant find it. So i told them when again and sent screen shots of their email system confirming my email was received on the 16th of march and was sent via their website contact us page.
 
Update: Since I sent them screen shots on paypal as proof that I emailed them via their contact us on their site they have not responded thus far, nor have I gotten anymore calls. I was willing to work with them as I thought they had good stock (which they may or may not have in reality) and I paid a premium for hatching eggs from good stock (which I don't mind if it's good stock).

But in seeing how I have had to leave a review and open a case before they were willing to contact me even after sending a email to them to try and work with them is highly disappointing, and for them to hint I might not have sent a email is quite annoying couple with flouting APHA/DEFRA bird lock down rules here in the UK (yes I'm still mad about that) it has left a bad taste in my mouth. That and they say they have a replacement process but it appears that it's done so begrudgingly from the few ppl that have reached out to make use of it.

Oh and does anyone know of a thread/blog/book etc that explains what happens when one breeds poor quality stock?
 
Update: still no contact from problematic seller since my last message with proof of emailing them via their sites email confirmation.

Since then i found out a seller that i very much liked and worked with that actually is about 20-30 miles away from this problematic seller has unfortunately had to cull all their birds ducks,geese,chickens, quail including some rare breeds of those birds and im heart broken they are very nice ppl and did not deserve it.

Now i say this because in my personal opinion its a high probability due to how close the problematic seller is, and how they have flouted the lockdown rules and have admitted to such they are at a way higher risk of being infected if not already.

Now if i win the case or not who knows but i really think sellers need to stop trying to blame infertile eggs on the postal system at best it would cause early quiters not 100% infertile eggs. So selling them as believed to be fertile and explaining the set up and either explaining your replacement options or lack thereof is better IMHO then saying i cant be responsible for infertile eggs cuz of the postal system.

It sucks wont lie. Even when i sold hatching eggs on ebay i tried my best to help customers (this was a few years ago). The few half dozen i did sell were all fertile the issue was people were using those small 6 egg cheap chinese incubators but even then i was willing to give a discount or send new eggs out if the person was nice and polite. I love the user name btw!

Well still no reply from a and j poultry, I'm wondering should I give them til tuesday next week to respond before I put it to paypal as the seller is not co-operating, I say this as it was good friday the other day and we will have easter monday off over here in the UK or am I just being a bit to nice?

Case is open with paypal, tomorrow i think ill escalate it to paypal to decide in the case, im sick of trying to work with a seller that just cant be bothered. If i loose the case i hope DEFRA/APHA fines them six times the amount i paid for their eggs because they decided to breech lockdown orders for their birds if not that something as equally annoying for them.
