That's one thing I certainly preferred about brooder babies, the added benefit of having them in the comfort of the house! (Not that I'm allowed to do that anymore since DH built the seperate pen ) I can't wait to do a broody hatch when its warm and not disgustingly damp!Im tempted to bring her inside for a week so I can watch her all day long- but 'Id get nothing done.
That's an amazing little marking! I'm so curious what the heck that equals out to gene wise!Here they are- mama with 7 chicks (of 8 eggs) and the late comer, double stuff.
