That looks like a 'fart egg.' Often, they're missing either the yolk or the white. I doubt anything would hatch, and I'm not sure development would happen at all if you attempted to incubate it.

EDT: is it being incubated? Can you candle it, if so?

No I am not incubating it. Idk what it means but I assume it means trying to warm it. What is candling it?

Candling it is when you put up a strong light against the egg. This allows you to see inside! This way you can see the developing g embryo, and the overall growth of the chick!

Cool. Wouldnt that hurt the chick or something? Ill have to do it tommorow because its gonna be 10pm

You don’t actually use a real candle. Use a flashlight. Yeah, the name is weird, and sounds painful! But don’t worry, no chick will be harmed by doing this.
Thanks for telling me! One more question. I want to show people my moms place for chickens and ask people if i should change something about it since winter is coming. The chickens have always been safe but I just want to be extremly careful

Not necessarily. Just add them to your post. I’m not the greatest at doing that tho, (sry), but if you watch the intro vids offered on this website, I’m sure it’ll show ya’!!
