Wow!! I don't think that is a ton of money, but my mom would. She wouldn't spend $50 at the vet for a $200 chicken, but she would never buy a $200 chicken. She acted like it was a HUGE decision to buy a $15 show D' Uccle. [sigh] Hope the fella gets better.
