I was talking about Serama’s. I have no experience on this my self, but on a Dutch chicken forum people say the bigger Serama’s do okay in our climate (about 20 - 15 days with freezing temperatures during the day). But for the smaller Serama’s it’s a hazard when its gets below zero C . This is because there origin is more tropical.How do the 11 gram black-capped chickadees survive our NY winters not only without supplemental heat but without a coop?
