i have a gosling living with my chicks and wondering if its not good to use acv in their water because the goose submerges her whole head in the dish, so would it irritate her eyes?

Yes, you won't use so much that it will hurt her. 1 Tablespoon to 1 Gallon of water, in a non-metal waterer. Use raw ACV, the kind you usually get at the health stores. It has the friendly gut-enhancing organisms.

Question I also heard it removes the algie from growing in a placstic water feeder is that true?

i think this is true and it also helps to make the valves work better in the metal ones
