I have a chick who has a bit of the sniffles. She sneezes ever so often and I usually get a little sprayed. Her legs shake a little when I hold her and her breathing sounds a bit wet every bow a then. (The other one also has wet breathing but none of the other symptoms)

Should I use Tylan 50 for this or do you think its not a big deal?
.
Also, the dosage for a two week old chick is 1/10cc correct?

One last thngy, is there any other alternative to this product?

Sorry it took so long to respond.

I have 18 chicks that sneeze all the time, and I get sprayed. I was so worried and I wanted to get them on antibiotics, but decided to try airing out their coop instead (it was musty and humid). They seem to be getting better and are growing well. If, however, they seem weak at all, have clicking or rattling while breathing, or have discharge from the eyes or nose, then antibiotics would be a good choice.

Make sure their brooder/coop is warm, dry, and has fresh air. Make sure it isn't too dusty and that it isn't just starter feed dust getting up in their nostrils.

I hope this helps. Best of luck!
