I have two lavender Orpingtons and I am on the journey to making sure they are both pullets :). One of my Orpingtons has purple feet while the other has more pinkish feet. Does this determine anything? I know size does but what about color? Also how developed should a lavender orpington pullet's crest be at 11 weeks both of mine have pretty short pale, pink crest. When do orpingtons start to crow (mine have never tried but I'm curious). Thanks everyone :D

Roosters can crow at a week old, months old or 8 months. It depends on the rooster. I think lavender orpingtons get grey/dark grey feet. And your orphingtons should NOT have a crest...
