What is flock block?

You know what suet cakes are? Well this is like a giant block of feed held together with some type of binder, maybe molasses(?), not sure. It's a block of feed they peck at, basically

BTW-
Someone said, "Speckledhen is a pro when it comes to Barred Rocks
Is there an easy way to tell Barred Rock males chicks from females chicks?
We purchased some red sex link chicks and we picked one Barred rock from the str8 run cage.
We picked a lite shade chick-thinking it would be a male since females are darker.

LOL, well, I'm the expert until one fools me! Yes, the lighter, more silvery ones with larger headspots are most often the boys and the darker ones with smaller headspots and darker leg fronts are the girls.

Yep Flock Block is made by Purina but if you cant get it at your feed store they might have the 20lb blocks of wild bird seed, which would probably work too. The FB cost me $12 (25lbs) and the bird seed block is $8.
