Shouldn’t she be laying?!?

How long have you been feeding layer feed?
Really shouldn't start that until they are all laying,
the lower protein can slow them down a bit.
You'll just have to be patient,
Most breeds average onset of lay is 18-28 weeks,
but time of year and diet can effect that.

My svart honas didn't start laying until 6-8 months. Sometimes it just takes forever, the one was so late she almost became food

It can take longer, also the heat isn't gonna help with their egg laying : D

Some hens take longer to begin laying than others, a lot of my large fowl don’t being laying until 8 months.

I do understand some of them take time, I was mainly wondering about these ones because they look and act like they should lay soon.

The bird in first pic looks pretty close to ready...the others, nah.
Squatting can happen a couple weeks before onset of lay.

I just did what it said to check if they are laying and I did what it said to do, and it feels like two of them are laying (my cuckoo maran and ameraucana)
