Show and tell your Sebrights or Sebright mixes!

I've read that they are actually considered to be a true bantam because there is no standard size.

I was looking around on line and found that in Europe they breed solid black one, and solid white ones. They are pretty.
The websites where I saw them said that those colors aren't available in the US. But I would imagine someone would have imported some by now... Don't ya think? Has anyone ever seen any in person?

I can't wait to get mine. I'm getting eggs soon, but I'm afraid of trying to hatch them cause I might screw it up.. I'd rather have chicks. The woman I bought 2 of my goats from has several and is going to hook me up with some fertile eggs.

I think the Sebrights are beautiful little chickens and when I saw hers I wanted some badly and been planning on getting some since then. When she come to visit the goats at my home, she asked if I was interested in some eggs, so I'm very excited about this..

The Sebrights are such gorgeous little birds! I'd have them around just for lawn ornaments. While I don't have any chickens yet, I would love to have some Sebrights - guess I'm partial to the silver ones. I always thought I would want to have some standard size chickens, but recently I visited a large flock of mixed chickens and a female turkey. I was very surprised at how large my egg lady's chickens were! So now I'm leaning more toward raising bantams if I'm ever in a situation where I can have chickens. Thanks for the pics of your Sebrights!

Could be that Serama roo is actually a male feather Seabright. They pop up from what i have read and some breeders use them to maintain good fertility in the stock thought they cannot be shown. I've gotten a seabright "hen" to mate to my Serama roo for the exact look of yours. If it is full Serama it sure is a nice start to a true breeding laced variety. I think the two breeds compliment each other really well.
Very pretty bird .
His little hen looks just like my micro.
