Show feed question

Hello, I have a question about show feeds. My daughter is raising broilers for 4-h. This is her second year. Last year we lost some chicks in the beginning due to not starting on medicated feed. This year, we have given them show feed, I don't want to name the brand in case this isn't related. But we didn't loose any initially, but here we are five days from the show and we are loosing them rapidly. We have lost 4 in 3 days. It's been very hot and humid. We have a fan in the coop, lots of access to water, one water source has added electrolytes since it's been hot, and the run is shaded. The only thing we have changed from last year is using the show feed. Has anyone else experienced significant flock loss using a high end show feed?

What's the protein on the feed?
Have they been on it since hatch?
How old are they now?
Any sign of coccidiosis?

Thank you for your reply. They have been on it since hatch. Currently they are on 24% protein. We followed the feeding regime suggested by a poultry rep with the company. We will be switching to 22% from now to sale day. They are 7 weeks old, no signs of coccidiosis
