Show me a pic of your wall-mounted feeder/waterer!

Heres the feeder I built holds right at 50lb's.

Tricia<: I think I'll make one just like yours on the common wall between my coop and storage areas. I'd like it to be sized such that it will hold about 1 1/4 bag of feed. That way when it gets low, I can pour in an entire bag. What are your (exterior) dimensions? Does it hold a full bag of feed? Thanks for the great plan.

I know what you mean. Instead of buying more feeders, I had a couple of cheap kids step stools in the garage. I set the feeder and water up on those and the results have been much better. Just a thought!

The coop wall it's on is 7 feet long. Honestly i don't know how big it is. I just kind of whipped it up on the fly. It will hold a an entire bag of feed. Make sure you chalk it and waterproof it. Also angle the bottom so the feed flows without getting stuck. I put some weather stripping on the top of the lid to keep the rain out, and went back and angled the lid a bit to keep the rain out. the main reason I built it was to keep the goat out of the feed. Now the dang thing just gets down on his knees and sticks his head in and tries to lick it out.

Thank you for the complements!
